Why can’t all cities be like Batsi, Greece?

It’s 26 degrees, a medditeranean night with starry clear skies. We are rounding the bend into the bay where the town of Batsi lies. After just a few days we have completely taken to this place and we are starting to feel like home. On our way we meet one of our friends, a labrador and her owner. The labrador had taken us on a walk the other day to the other beach and even watched our stuff while we were swimming. Once she had taken us back to the main village she left us and we felt slightly used, she clearly wanted company for her walk. So we are happy that she remembered us…
